Howdy.

This is the third incarnation of LiveJournal that I've used, and if this name joins Sandybear or Thoabath as 'no longer appropriate', there will likely be a fourth.

Yes, I took the name from the Slayers. The idea of the lowest-ranked of the Host, with the most important job... amused me. So did WW recycling the name in their NWoD.

I ended up making this journal almost completely friends-only. Email me if you want in.

I work for the Department of Homeland Security. I don't talk about work here.

I'm... complicated. Let's just leave it at that for right now. I'll confess to being a bit of a flirt, though. :)

I'm overly discrete. To a fault. To the point where I once would have rather let someone believe a comfortable illusion then expose a painful truth on "principal". I've learned better than to lie like that... but I still don't talk about a lot of what's truly meaningful in my life, outside a small group, and I'm not one for bragging about past conquests, or the like.

Because it's all the rage to leave some quotes in the bio, here's a pair for you:
